InformaCast is an emergency broadcasting application which sends notifications for emergencies to your phone/personal device via the InformaCast App, SMS, in person through your site's intercom and speakers, and through email.
Operators will see a dashboard with a list of scenarios, see screenshot below for a full list.
Everyone has access to these scenarios/buttons, so if you see something, say something!
Team assist is a feature which allows you to call for assistance from a list of pre-determined staff in the case of an emergency. When pressing the team assist button, you'll be asked which kind of assistance is needed, as seen below, as well as what room assistance is needed in. Each site will have it's own team assist and assigned responders.
There are multiple options for you to get notifications.
Desktop app, located in the company portal
Other ways to get notified: Phone call, text, email
You can download the app on your phone's app store!
*Note: you must be signed in to get notifications on the desktop app
For signing in, informacast uses SSO (Single Sign On). Simply use the same User and Pass you'd use to log in to your computer and/or email.
After logging in to the app, navigate to the self service tab. In this tab, you can set up alternate notification methods.
