For teachers, front office, and site coordinators. Student accounts and class rosters come from your student information system (PowerSchool or Skyward). When a new student is missing from Clever, NWEA, IXL, or another app, it is usually just waiting for the next sync.
Look the student up in Bravo. Use Bravo Student Account Lookup in Common Questions. If the student is there, the account exists.
Not in Bravo? Ask the front office to confirm the student is fully enrolled, has a UIC (state student ID), and has the AUP box checked. The account is created within the hour after those are in place.
In Bravo but missing from an app? Clever and most rostered apps sync overnight. Check again the next morning.
Clever says the student has no Google account connected? The account usually was not created yet. Check step 2.
Student sees the wrong classes or old name? Have the student sign out of Chrome, sign back in, then open Clever and choose Sign in with Google.
Submit a ticket and include:
The app name (Clever, NWEA, IXL, HMH, Acadience, and so on)
The student number (not just the name)
Grade, teacher, and class period or section
What you see, with a screenshot of any error message
Your site coordinator or our team will check the student record and the app sync.
Name changes and duplicate records are the most common reason a student stays missing. These are fixed in the student information system first, then the apps catch up on the next sync.
Staff access to assessment tools such as NWEA needs approval from your building administrator.
Scores entered under the wrong student or grade live inside the vendor's system. We can fix the roster, but recovering scores usually needs the vendor's support team.
