The snipping tool can be found in the start menu or press WINDOWS KEY + SHIFT + S for easy access
Snipping Tool (Recommended)
Press Windows + Shift + S
Your screen dims and a small toolbar appears at the top.
Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
The screenshot is copied to your clipboard. Paste it with Ctrl+V into an email, Word doc, or anywhere else.
A notification appears in the bottom-right corner -- click it to save the image to a file or draw on it.
Capture the Whole Screen
Press PrtScn (Print Screen)
Your entire screen is copied to the clipboard.
Paste it anywhere with Ctrl+V.
Full Screen (Recommended)
Press Ctrl + Show Windows key
Captures everything on your screen.
A notification appears in the bottom-right -- click it to open the image, or find it in your Downloads folder
Select Just Part of the Screen
Press Ctrl + Shift + Show Windows key
Click and drag to select only the area you want to capture.
Screenshot saves automatically to your Downloads folder.
