Casting with InstaShare 2

InstaShare 2 lets you wirelessly show your computer screen on a BenQ classroom board. Install the app once, then connect using the board list or a pairing code.

Step 1: Install InstaShare 2

Open Company Portal on your computer and install InstaShare 2. New to Company Portal? See how to install apps.

Step 2, option A: Connect from the Board List

1. Open InstaShare 2. Double-click the desktop shortcut, or press the Windows key and search for it.

2. The first time you open it, click through the short tutorial.

3. Find your board under Board list, select it, then select Connect.

Step 2, option B: Connect with a pairing code

Use this if your board isn't in the list or the list is empty.

1. Press Input on the board or the remote and choose Android. If the board is already on the Android screen, skip this step.

2. Touch the Apps icon (four squares) on the bottom bar.

3. Find and touch InstaShare 2. It may be in a different spot than shown.

4. The board shows its name and a pairing code.

5. Type the code into the box next to Connect in the app on your computer, then select Connect.

Step 3: Share your screen

1. After you connect, choose what to share. In most cases, select Device to Board to show your computer on the board.

2. Choose Duplicate to show the same screen, or Extend to use the board as a second screen.

3. Select Share.

4. When you're done, select Disconnect to stop casting.
